The Buffaloes were one of the best teams in the Big 12 in 2024, but Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter will be playing on Sundays in 2025. Incoming freshman Julian Lewis has drawn a lot of hype, but not only will he be a true freshman next season, but he also reclassified from the Class of 2026 to the Class of 2025. It would be a tough challenge for someone his age to step in as the immediate starter. Salter could be a great transitional option.
