Van Buren considered the Scarlet Knights out of high school and the program should still be enticing after another seven-win season. Athan Kaliakmanis played well in 2024 after transferring in from Minnesota, but 2025 will be his last year of eligibility. Van Buren could compete for the starting job right away, but he would be the long-term option in New Brunswick regardless.
