Top 10 Washington boys basketball players in Class of 2025
4. Martin Kaupanger, SG, Annie Wright
Annie Wright lost in a heartbreaker in the WIAA 1A state championship game last season, but the Gators are poised to get back to that point in 2024-25 with Kaupanger leading the way. The 6-foot-5 wing is one of Washington鈥檚 most dynamic players as he prides himself on defense with active hands and shot-blocking ability. Kaupanger is also terrific offensively as he has a nice pull-up jump shot and is a skilled ballhandler who attacks the basket well in the open floor. Last season, Kaupanger averaged 20.1 points, 7.5 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 1.8 steals and 1.5 blocks for the Gators, shooting 48.2% from the field and an impressive 48.7% from 3-point range. Kaupanger is in line for a big finish to his prep career this winter before heading east to play college basketball at Indiana State.
Easy money, 35 pts 8 dunks. Good warmup for the season.
