10 most impactful players for 2024 NCAA volleyball tournament
Sarah Franklin, Wisconsin
Wisconsin has remained near the top of women鈥檚 college volleyball since its 2021 national championship and a big reason why has been the sensational play of Franklin. Last season, the fifth-year senior was named AVCA National Player of the Year, but she has perhaps been even better in 2024 for the Badgers as she has posted 524.5 points and 470 kills, with an impressive 4.48 kills per set. The 6-foot-4 outside hitter has also contributed 238 digs and 51 blocks as she will likely set career-highs in multiple statistical categories. Franklin just won her second consecutive Big Ten Player of the Year award in a conference full of elite talent and will be the catalyst for Wisconsin making a deep tournament run that could eventually feature a rematch with top-seeded Nebraska.
