Top 10 Pennsylvania boys basketball players in Class of 2025
1. Matt Gilhool, PF, William Penn Charter
Pennsylvania has a deep group of talent within its senior class this season but Gilhool ultimately stands alone at the top. The 6-foot-11, 205-pound big man is incredibly athletic and skilled for his size as he can put the ball on the floor and attack the basket, finish at the rim and has a nice left-handed shooting stroke from deep. Those skills were on display during a nice summer on the Nike EYBL circuit with Team Final and during his junior season at William Penn Charter where Gilhool averaged 15 points, nine rebounds and two blocks, shooting 57% from the field and 31% from 3-point range. The should build on those numbers in 2024-25 before heading south to play college basketball at LSU, committing to the Tigers in September over Alabama, Iowa, Georgia Tech, Mississippi State and Tennessee.
Matthew Gilhool was tough this summer for Team Final!
