5. Kruz McClure, SG, St. John鈥檚 Northwestern Academies
McClure has been one of the best players in central Ohio over the last couple of years while playing at Westerville South High School. He transferred to play for DME Academy at St. John鈥檚 Northwestern Academies in Delafield over the summer and immediately slots in as one of the top prep players in the Badger State this season. McClure was an Ohio Mr. Basketball finalist and first-team all-state player as a junior, averaging 23.9 points, 4.4 rebounds, three assists and 2.7 steals. The 6-foot-4 shooting guard is athletic and has good ball-handling skills. That often allows him to create his own shot anywhere on the floor, particularly from deep as he excels as a 3-point shooter. McClure will be an exciting player to watch this winter before heading south to DePaul, committing to Chris Holtmann and the Blue Demons this past August.
