Top 10 Wisconsin boys basketball players in Class of 2025
7. Gavin Gores, PF, Cumberland
Gores is a highly-impressive player who has put up big numbers at Cumberland over the past couple of years. Gores is already Cumberland’s all-time leading scorer, thanks in part to some massive stat lines he had last season, including a 51-point, 19-rebound effort, and another game where he scored 47 points. Overall, the 6-foot-10 forward averaged 28.6 points, 13.1 rebounds and 1.3 blocks, helping the Beavers to 14 wins. While Gores is a strong rebounder and is solid defensively, his offensive game is what takes him to the next level as he can play inside and out with a nice shooting stroke from deep. He also has good athleticism at his size which makes him an intriguing prospect as he soon heads to Wyoming. Gores committed to the Cowboys in August over multiple other interested D-I programs, including Illinois.
