Top 10 Wisconsin boys basketball players in Class of 2025
2. Xzavion Mitchell, PF, Oshkosh North
One of Wisconsin鈥檚 most infamous recent prep stars, Tyrese Haliburton, was a standout at Oshkosh North before playing collegiately at Iowa State. Mitchell is prepared to follow the same path after committing to the Cyclones in March over in-state offers from Wisconsin and Marquette. Before his college career, Mitchell will look to build on a sensational junior season at Oshkosh North where he averaged 25.7 points, 8.6 rebounds and three assists as he helped lead the Spartans to the WIAA Division 1 regional semifinals. The 6-foot-6, 210-pound forward also had a nice summer on the AAU circuit with Team Herro, showcasing a dynamic skill set with a solid jump shot, a strong post game and physicality on both ends of the floor. The should be one of Wisconsin鈥檚 top scorers again in 2024-25 before heading off to Ames.
