The Crimson Tide lead the series with a 56-27-5 record. That鈥檚 thanks in part to a strong recent stretch where they have won 11 of the last 13 matchups following a successful run by LSU in the early 2000s.
High stakes tend to follow this historic rivalry and will again this year as both teams are fighting for their playoff lives. Brian Kelly鈥檚 team should come into this game ready to go after sitting on its loss to the Aggies for two weeks. Producing a high-scoring affair could ultimately favor the Tigers as they look to maintain their playoff hopes.
