Ranking 10 college football WRs who could win Biletnikoff Award
4. Jeremiah Smith, Ohio State
Smith recently as the top wide receivers in college football. While some stiff competition remains among upperclassmen for that distinction, Smith continues to make his case as one of the nation鈥檚 top wideouts and a legitimate candidate for the Biletnikoff Award as just a freshman. Smith has been terrific playing alongside Emeka Egbuka in a typically stacked wide receiver room at Ohio State, making 32 receptions for 553 yards and seven touchdowns through six games. The 6-foot-3, 215-pound standout is known for big plays with several long scores but has been impressively consistent as well with 70 yards or more in all six contests. If the special freshman athlete can be a driving force behind Ohio State rebounding to win a Big Ten title, Smith will likely be seriously considered for the award.
