10 college football freshmen who could be All-Americans
Anthonie Knapp, Notre Dame
Knapp was thrust into the starting lineup after Charles Jagusah suffered a season-ending pec injury. He has handled the pressure well and has not been a concern. It is not easy for a true freshman to protect the blindside of a QB on a team with high expectations, but Knapp has done just that for the Fighting Irish.
Can't understate how well the Notre Dame offensive line blocked on Riley Leonard's first carry at Purdue.
Billy Schrauth seals the edge on his pull. Anthonie Knapp seals the interior. Aamil Wagner pulls and protects the backside of the rushing lane.
Textbook. Brilliant.
