6. Dave Jaynes, QB (1971-73)
Jaynes was a fantastic field general for the Jayhawks. The 6-foot-2 Kansas star would pace the Big 8 Conference in passing as a junior and senior. As a senior in 1973, Jaynes would garner first-team All-America honors. In 2012, the native Kansan was inducted into the Kansas Sports Hall of Fame.
