Top 10 Illinois RBs for 2024 high school football season
9. Zebulon Rashid, Sr., Annawan-Wethersfield
Rashid is one of the most productive rushers in Illinois and was named conference player of the year and a Class 1A all-state performer last season. Rashid is well-built at 5-foot-10, 200 pounds and plays a physical brand of football on both sides of the ball. Last season, the Annawan-Wethersfield standout posted 78 tackles, eight tackles for loss and three fumble recoveries for the Titans defensively. However, his most impressive performances came on offense, including a 245-yard, five-touchdown effort in the postseason. Overall, Rashid ran for 1,603 yards and 27 touchdowns while averaging 8.4 yards per carry in 2023. Similar numbers should be in store this fall before a potential college career for Rashid as he has attended camps with programs like Bowling Green, Miami (OH), Western Illinois and North Dakota.
Thank you to @EFTfootball and everyone who helped at the MLK showcase. I had a ton of fun.
