Top 10 Texas QBs for 2024 high school football season
1. Keelon Russell, Sr., Duncanville
While Texas is incredibly deep at quarterback this season, it鈥檚 hard to find anyone who can match Russell鈥檚 level. The 6-foot-3, 175-pound standout is the lone on this list and is rated as a top-10 player in the Class of 2025, and a top-five signal caller among all seniors in the entire country. Russell threw for 3,483 yards, 38 touchdowns and just three interceptions last season while completing an impressive 72.1% of his passes. The talented senior is also a threat with his legs, adding 361 yards and three scores on the ground as he led Duncanville to its second consecutive state championship. Russell will give the Panthers a chance to three-peat this fall before heading to the college ranks with Alabama, committing to the Crimson Tide this past June over a host of other Power 4 programs.
QB commit Keelon Russell has posted highlights from his recent scrimmage.
