5. Ethan Plumb, Sr., St. Charles North
Plumb was a first-team all-conference and all-state honorable mention quarterback at St. Charles North in his junior year and will look to build on that in his final season with the North Stars. The 6-foot-3, 185-pound signal caller has good size, a strong arm and a high football IQ, all qualities that have been on display during his prep career. Last season, Plumb threw for 2,456 yards and 20 touchdowns while also rushing for 10 scores in his first year as St. Charles North鈥檚 full-time starter. Plumb is rated as a three-star recruit and has earned a handful of Division I offers, including from one Power 4 school: Iowa State. The St. Charles North senior has a bright future ahead and should end his prep career on a high note this fall.
