Top 10 Illinois QBs for 2024 high school football season
8. Jacob Bell, Sr., Naperville North
Bell is the next in line among some of the talented quarterbacks who have played recently at Naperville North, including his older brother and current South Dakota State signal caller Jon Bell, and Northwestern sophomore Aidan Gray. Bell鈥檚 numbers don鈥檛 jump off the page compared to some on this list as he had just 11 total touchdowns last year, but he has proven capable of big games like his three-touchdown effort against Bolingbrook early last season. The all-conference quarterback鈥檚 numbers could improve in 2024 with the Huskies鈥� addition of Plainfield East transfer receiver Quinn Morris, but regardless, the 6-foot-3, 195-pound three-star recruit has the arm talent to be a successful quarterback at the next level. Bell plans to play college football at Ball State, committing to the Cardinals over several other MAC schools.
