Several talented quarterbacks reside within Texas鈥� senior class but Russell sits atop the group. The 6-foot-3, 175-pound senior is , a top-10 player nationally in the Class of 2025 and the third-best senior quarterback in the country by 247Sports. Playing alongside a talented supporting cast, Russell has proven to be an accurate passer with good arm strength and is a dual-threat with his legs as he has helped lead Duncanville to back-to-back Class 6A state titles. Russell was special as a junior, throwing for 3,483 yards, 38 touchdowns and just three interceptions while completing 72.1% of his throws. He also added 361 yards and six scores on the ground. The senior has all the tools and is in line for a strong campaign before joining Alabama where he should be a nice fit in Kalen DeBoer鈥檚 system.
