Top 10 Texas high school football players in Class of 2025
10. Riley Pettijohn, LB, McKinney
Pettijohn is an immensely talented defender who is in line for a strong final season at McKinney High School. The 6-foot-1, 215-pound senior is a and a top-five linebacker with good athleticism and range at the position. That鈥檚 part of what helped Pettijohn rack up 125 tackles last season in addition to eight tackles for loss, three sacks, an interception and a blocked field goal. Pettijohn has good football bloodlines as his father, Duke Pettijohn, was an All-Big East defensive lineman at Syracuse. Riley will soon follow in Duke鈥檚 footsteps as a college football player at Ohio State where he should earn an opportunity to become a staple of Ryan Day鈥檚 defense in the near future.
Ohio State 4-star LB commit Riley Pettijohn is tough鈥硷笍
A top-50 prospect in the ESPN 300, he digests plays quickly and possess major range that allows him to pile up tackles and finish plays strong. The sky is the limit 馃搱
