Standing at 6-foot-3 and 210 pounds, James is a three-star recruit, Oklahoma鈥檚 11th-best player, and the 55th-best linebacker in the nation. He can play on both sides of the ball, with experience at the receiver, half-back and multiple defensive positions. During his junior season, James recorded 272 receiving yards and six touchdowns on 14 receptions, with 114 tackles and two sacks. He committed to the University of Oklahoma in November 2023, the first of six future Sooners on this list.听
