After winning just one game and finishing sixth out of seven teams in the Metro-Maroon in 2022, Podany and the Tornadoes posted a 6-3 record and tied for second in the conference last season. Podany finished the year seventh in completions in the state with 169, 11th in passing yards with 2,194 and tied for 19th in touchdowns with 20. He and the Tornadoes will look to advance in the Class 6A postseason for the first time since 2021.聽
