3. Dan Mahan, Sr., Walter M. Williams
A three-star prospect , Mahan spent most of his sophomore season at wide receiver before taking over the starting quarterback role for the Bulldogs in 2023. He completed 58.8% of his pass attempts for 1,776 yards and 18 touchdowns on the way to a 9-3 record and the second round of the NCHSAA 3A playoffs. Mahan committed to the Duke Blue Devils in early June to continue his career as a signal caller.聽
