7. Mason Alexander, CB, Hamilton Southeastern
Alexander has a unique story of perseverance as he quit football a few years after his father passed away unexpectedly due to a heart attack. Alexander eventually returned to the gridiron and has become one of Indiana鈥檚 top defensive stars in the Class of 2025 since. The 6-foot, 180-pound standout is a terrific cover corner with good length and speed. Last season, he made 39 tackles and three interceptions while helping Hamilton Southeastern to a solid 9-3 campaign. Alexander, a four-star recruit who was named an all-state defensive back last year, will look to help the Royals make a deeper postseason run this fall. Then, he will head east to play college football at Pittsburgh, committing to the Panthers this past June.
