Faneca was a football star at Lamar Consolidated High School (Rosenberg). In 1993, he was selected as the Touchdown Club of Houston鈥檚 . As a he blocked for a pair of 1,000-yard rushers.
He is now recognized as one of the greatest offensive linemen in NFL history with the help of nine Pro Bowl selections and two Super Bowl rings.聽
