Houston-area HS football stars who became NFL Hall of Famers
Branch played at Worthing High School (Houston) in the late 1960s. He was a two-time all-district pick and made honorable mention all-state as a senior.聽
In the NFL, he emerged as a three-time Super Bowl champion, two-time NFL receiving touchdowns leader and an NFL receiving yards leader.聽
Unfortunately, Branch did not live to see his induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame鈥檚 2022 class. He passed away in 2019 at the age of 71.聽
