8. KJ Lacey, Saraland High School (Alabama)
Lacey will join the quarterback factory in Austin, Texas, after his high school career. The Saraland, Alabama, native has been committed to the Longhorns since June 2023. Saraland lost in the state championship last season, but Lacey did all he could as a junior with 3,448 yards through the air along with 42 touchdowns. He also completed 70% of his passes. Lacey will likely battle to take over the starting job at Texas once Arch Manning leaves.聽
