3. Preston Stone, SMU
Stone was one of the top signal callers at the Group of 5 level in 2023 and now his ability to handle better competition will be a major storyline in the conference. He threw for 3,197 yards and 28 touchdowns with only six interceptions last season. The redshirt junior is a legitimate NFL draft prospect who could be a Day 2 selection with a big year.
