Jay Johnson has had a strong offseason already with several key additions out of the transfer portal, particularly bolstering the Tigers鈥� pitching staff for next season. However, making an additional splash to the lineup by acquiring someone like Fischer would be a huge win for LSU.听A talented young core of hitters is still in place in Baton Rouge for next season, but the Tigers will likely lose third baseman Tommy White and first baseman Jared Jones in the MLB draft. Those were LSU鈥檚 top two power-hitters this past season who combined for 52 home runs, production Fischer could certainly help replace from the left side.
