Andrew Fischer transferring: 5 possible landing spots

There鈥檚 always a chance that someone who enters the transfer portal looks to play closer to home and Virginia could be a potential option for Fischer if that鈥檚 what he鈥檚 seeking. Not only would transferring to the Cavaliers allow Fischer to be closer to New Jersey, but he would also be joining a top-10 program in the country that racked up 46 wins this past season. Virginia has a relatively young roster but could endure several departures this offseason, including a couple of its top hitters, Bobby Whalen and Jacob Ference, who have exhausted their eligibility. Meanwhile, Griff O鈥橣errall, Ethan Anderson, Harrison Didawick and Casey Saucke are all likely MLB draft picks. Fischer would be a terrific bat to add to Virginia鈥檚 2025 lineup who could make up for the lost power numbers from Didawick in particular.聽
