Kailey Wyckoff transferring: 5 possible landing spots
Oklahoma Sooners
Oklahoma just won its fourth consecutive national championship as Norman has become the destination spot for college softball. The continued success and the opportunity to play for Patty Gasso will likely intrigue any potential transfer target and Wyckoff could be someone the legendary coach looks to add this offseason. The Sooners need a catcher with Kinzie Hansen out of eligibility, and they will also lose a lot of additional pop from their lineup this offseason including Rylie Boone, Tiare Jennings, Jayda Coleman and Alyssa Brito. Those losses will mean the beginning of a new era of sorts in Norman next season, but an addition of a veteran like Wyckoff, who has already proven successful in one of the top conferences in college softball, would go a long way toward Oklahoma competing for a fifth straight national title.
