The Hawkeyes have done their fair share of producing pitchers led by Adam Mazur of the San Diego Padres and a potential first-round pick this year in Brody Brecht. These are the big names, but Marcus Morgan and Cade Obermueller from the current staff should hear their names selected as well. Iowa could be in the market for pitching and it has shown that it can put Root in a good spot as he looks to transition to the pros.
