The Gators decided to land a star shortstop out of the transfer portal last offseason in Colby Shelton from Alabama and they may opt to do it again. Shelton is expected to go high enough in the MLB draft to where it is unlikely he will return to Gainesville. The move was a success so why not replicate the process with a player like Kilen?
