Top 10 pitchers in the 2024 NCAA baseball regular season
Ryan Johnson, Dallas Baptist
Dallas Baptist quietly continues to be one of the more dominant mid-major programs across college baseball as the Patriots have won 30 games or more in each season since 2010 outside of the shortened 2020 campaign. DBU reached the 40-win mark again this season in large part thanks to its ace pitcher, Johnson. The big 6-foot-6, 215-pound junior has gone 10-2 with a 1.81 ERA that ranks third among all Division I pitchers. Johnson has also racked up the third-most strikeouts in the country (141) and has held opponents to a .202 batting average to go along with a 0.86 WHIP. Johnson will likely be an early-round draft pick this summer but will first look to lead the Patriots to postseason success in the coming weeks.
