10 players who increased their stock at 2024 NBA Draft Combine
KJ Simpson
Simpson has proved his scoring ability over the last two seasons at Colorado, averaging nearly 16 points as a sophomore and 19.7 points this past season. He has also proved to have a clutch gene with a late game-winning shot in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. That already had the talented 6-foot-2 guard on the radar for many near the end of the first round or early in the second, and Simpson only helped strengthen his draft case at the combine. Simpson began the combine with a 40.5-inch max vertical which was one of the best at the event. He was also very good during the scrimmages, putting up 16 points on 7-for-13 shooting with three steals on Tuesday while coming back with 11 points, seven rebounds and four assists on Wednesday.
Aggressive outing from Colorado's KJ Simpson at the NBA draft combine. 16 points, 3 steals in 24 minutes. Made some smart passes and competed defensively while showing his polished scoring instincts.
