10 players who increased their stock at 2024 NBA Draft Combine
Alex Karaban
Karaban is a back-to-back national champion and is one of multiple UConn players who could become a first-round draft pick in about a month, joining Donovan Clingan and Stephon Castle. Karaban could still opt to play another season under Dan Hurley in Storrs, but he certainly impressed throughout the combine which could make him a valuable pick late in round one if he commits to going pro. Karaban is known as a tremendous long-range shooter and that was on display at the combine as he shot 21-for-25 during the 3-point shooting drill. The 6-foot-8 forward also had a good scrimmage on Wednesday as he scored 12 points on 4-of-5 shooting, proving he can become a capable scorer at the next level.
Alex Karaban caught fire in the 3-point star shooting drill, hitting 14 straight 3s. Made 21/25 total for by far the best figure so far at the NBA draft combine. Also tops in off the dribble shooting.
