10 players who increased their stock at 2024 NBA Draft Combine
Reed Sheppard
Sheppard wasn’t the most highly-touted recruit in a loaded freshman class at Kentucky but he could end up as the highest draft pick from the Wildcats’ 2023-24 roster. Sheppard emerged throughout his freshman season in Lexington as he averaged 12.5 points and shot an incredible 52.1% from 3-point range. His defense was also spectacular as he averaged 2.5 steals, and it’s that combination that has NBA scouts intrigued. At the combine, Sheppard opened even more eyes as he proved his athleticism with a 42-inch vertical which was tied for the best mark in that category at the event. The additional athletic upside could make Sheppard a top-five pick in June.
