Jamir Watkins transferring: 5 possible landing spots

Watkins is plenty familiar with Virginia after spending this past season in the ACC. Going from Leonard Hamilton鈥檚 system to Tony Bennett鈥檚 style would likely be an adjustment, but Virginia needs to add star power in order to compete next season and the 6-foot-7 forward certainly fits the bill. The Cavaliers were bounced in the first four of the NCAA Tournament this past season due to a lack of scoring, something Watkins could help correct. Meanwhile, he is also a strong presence on the defensive end which is required under Bennett. With Reece Beekman and Ryan Dunn headed to the NBA, Virginia will lose some athleticism as well. More minor losses like Jacob Groves and Leon Bond III also limit the Cavaliers鈥� depth, making it even more vital to add someone like Watkins in the near future.
