Melvin Council Jr. transferring: 5 possible landing spots
Seton Hall Pirates
Council Jr. could stay out on the East Coast for his senior season and one program that might provide him the greatest opportunity if he does is Seton Hall. The Pirates are coached by Shaheen Holloway, a former Pirates player who had to prove himself as a coach at the mid-major level before landing a job in the Big East at his alma mater. It鈥檚 a similar spot to what Council Jr. is in as a player, and the 6-foot-4 standout also seems to fit the mold of what Holloway looks for in a guard. Kadary Richmond led the Pirates across the board statistically in 2023-24, but he recently joined guards Dre Davis and Dylan Addae-Wusu in the transfer portal, while Al-Amir Dawes is out of eligibility. That means the Pirates can certainly use guard help and Council Jr. would be a nice option.
