Chaz Lanier enters transfer portal: 5 possible landing spots

Wisconsin hasn鈥檛 utilized the transfer portal often in recent years, but the Badgers did find success in doing so while adding AJ Storr last offseason. Storr鈥檚 athleticism and scoring ability helped Wisconsin to a top-five finish in the Big Ten, something Lanier could provide while likely adding more consistent shooting to the team鈥檚 backcourt. While Wisconsin might not typically look at adding a player like Lanier, some transfer portal moves are quickly becoming a necessity for Greg Gard after seeing Storr transfer to Kansas, veteran guard Chucky Hepburn enter the portal and fifth-year forward Tyler Wahl graduate. Lanier is certainly worth a look as a replacement for those departing players who could greatly help Wisconsin鈥檚 offense while also adding more veteran leadership to the team.
