Elijah Hawkins transferring: 5 possible landing spots

Hawkins could make a move to the SEC with some of the conference鈥檚 high-profile programs already reaching out to him during his time in the portal, including Tennessee. The Volunteers are coming off a strong season where they fell just short of making their first Final Four appearance. Rick Barnes will look to continue that momentum, but he will have to do so with some new pieces in place next season. The Vols鈥� biggest loss will be leading scorer Dalton Knecht, but forward Jonas Aidoo will also likely depart via the transfer portal, while guards Josiah-Jordan James and Santiago Vescovi are out of eligibility. Hawkins could be a nice replacement for Vescovi in particular as a solid defender and a guard who can facilitate the offense alongside Zakai Zeigler and Jordan Gainey.
