Elijah Hawkins transferring: 5 possible landing spots
Georgetown Hoyas
Georgetown has been stuck toward the bottom of the Big East over the last few seasons but will look to turn things around under Ed Cooley. The Hoyas often lacked scoring this past season and also had just one player average more than 2.6 assists, guard Jayden Epps. The good news for Georgetown is that its leading scorer, Epps, should return in 2024-25, but the Hoyas will lose multiple key contributors in their backcourt with Dontrez Styles, Rowan Brumbaugh and Wayne Bristol Jr. all transferring, while senior guard Jay Heath is out of eligibility. Even after some portal additions already that include guard Malik Mack, bringing Hawkins back home to Washington D.C. could be beneficial for the Hoyas as it would add a veteran presence and a facilitator on offense.
