Zhuric Phelps enters transfer portal: 5 possible landing spots

Rodney Terry has already been very active in the transfer portal this offseason, bringing in a pair of guards: Tramon Mark and Julian Larry. With talented shooting guard Tre Johnson also entering the fold next season, the Longhorns backcourt will feature plenty of talent, and adding one more piece like Phelps to the mix could take Texas to new heights under Terry. Texas had a solid, yet somewhat disappointing 2023-24 season despite a talented roster and will now lose its top four scorers, including guards Tyrese Hunter and Max Abmas. With players like Dylan Disu, Brock Cunningham and Dillon Mitchell also on the way out, a depth piece like Phelps could be a nice addition to help further fill the scoring void left behind. Multiple members of Texas鈥� coaching staff, including Terry, also recruited Phelps out of high school.
