Dillon Mitchell transferring: 5 possible landing spots

Ole Miss being on this list isn鈥檛 a big surprise considering Chris Beard is the head coach in Oxford. Beard brought Mitchell to Texas and coached him at the beginning of the 2022-23 season before being dismissed by the program. Despite a pair of 7-footers on the roster with Moussa Cisse and Jamarion Sharp, the Rebels lacked size overall and depth at the forward position this past season. Beard has already addressed that through the portal with the additions of Malik Dea and Mikeal Brown-Jones. With senior forward Jaemyn Brakefield also returning next season, Ole Miss鈥� frontcourt suddenly could be pretty crowded. That could be a potential drawback for Mitchell, but having a more versatile skill set compared to some of those players would likely allow him to see a good amount of playing time under his old coach.
