Seth Trimble enters transfer portal: 5 possible landing spots

A return home is often beneficial for high-level recruits who struggle early on in their careers, so Trimble could look to make his way back to the Badger State. Wisconsin was a top-five team in the Big Ten this past season and returned to the NCAA Tournament, but it was evident at times that the Badgers needed a deeper bench. With Tyler Wahl graduating and AJ Storr transferring, Trimble could be a target out of the portal for Greg Gard and would likely see a boost in playing time in Madison. Wisconsin will have a relatively crowded backcourt next year with Chucky Hepburn, Max Klesmit and John Blackwell, but Trimble would have the potential to emerge as a key piece alongside those guards while his athleticism and defensive ability would be valuable for the Badgers, particularly with Storr leaving.
