Trimble was a top-50 prospect and four-star recruit in the Class of 2022 while starring at Menomonee Falls High School in Wisconsin. The 6-foot-3, 195-pound guard chose the Tar Heels over a host of several other high-major offers.
Over the last two seasons, Trimble has averaged just 3.5 points, 1.5 rebounds and 0.8 assists as has been buried down the depth chart a bit behind an experienced core for the Tar Heels. However, Trimble has still flashed athleticism and upside throughout his career on the hardwood that should have teams intrigued as he enters the portal.
Here are five programs that Trimble could be playing for in 2024-25.
