Mark Mitchell transferring: 5 landing spots for forward
UCLA
The Bruins were another finalist for Mitchell prior to his commitment to Duke so he knows the program and coaching staff well. UCLA could lose Adem Bona and have already lost his backup Kenneth Nwuba to graduation. While Berke Buyuktuncel played adequately for a freshman, the Bruins may want to upgrade its forwards even with the addition of USC transfer Kobe Johnson.

Mitchell was close to joining UCLA before and a frontcourt of Bona, Johnson and Mitchell sounds formidable. Again the question becomes if Mitchell is confident in the team鈥檚 direction after the Bruins missed out on the NCAA Tournament with a 16-17 record. If Mitchell feels his addition could help bring UCLA back to contention, the move may be a strong one for all involved.
