Mark Mitchell transferring: 5 landing spots for forward
Kansas
A native of Kansas City, Kansas, Mitchell was heavily recruited by the Jayhawks out of high school. The interest was mutual as Mitchell listed Kansas as one of his and even made a visit to the school. However, he would ultimately choose to leave his home state and play for the Blue Devils. Now in the portal, Mitchell may have a desire to return home.

The Jayhawks will have a number of their key players returning with KJ Adams, Hunter Dickinson and Johnny Furphy each expected to return. Kansas has also already done some damage in the transfer portal by adding both Riley Kugel and Zeke Mayo to the team. While there aren鈥檛 many holes on the team, another big would be nice considering both 6-foot-7 Kevin McCullar Jr. and key backup 6-foot-10 forward Parker Braun graduated. Adding Mitchell could allow the Jayhawks to have more lineup flexibility while adding height and rebounding to the roster.
