Lucy Olsen enters transfer portal: 5 landing spots for guard

The Huskies returned to form this past season, making a run to the Final Four after getting bounced in the Sweet 16 last year. With several star players returning including Paige Bueckers, Caroline Ducharme and Azzi Fudd and a strong recruiting class headlined by No. 1 overall recruit Sarah Strong, UConn appears ready to compete for a national title once again.
The thing that could keep the Huskies from their goals is health. Bueckers, Ducharme and Fudd have all dealt with long-lasting injuries and recoveries over their college careers so a full healthy season from any of them isn鈥檛 a guarantee. While freshmen KK Arnold and Ashlynn Shade played well in replacement this past season, having an experienced scoring guard certainly wouldn鈥檛 hurt. This move would not only place Olsen on a surefire contender but also keep her in the Northeast, just four and a half hours away from her hometown of Collegeville, Pennsylvania which has to be an attractive prospect for the guard.
