Illinois is considered the favorite to land Boswell. The Wildcats and the Illini were Boswell鈥檚 final schools during his initial recruiting process and many believe he will return to his hometown. The Illini lost to the eventual champion Huskies in the Elite Eight and will have a new-look roster next season with Terrence Shannon Jr. likely entering the NBA draft and Dain Dainja hitting the transfer portal. Boswell would be welcomed with open arms in Champaign should he decide to join Brad Underwood鈥檚 squad.聽
