4. Bridget Nemeth, RHP, Penn State
Penn State softball hasn鈥檛 made an NCAA Tournament appearance since 2011 but that could change this season with the Nittany Lions off to a 28-8 start. Penn State鈥檚 resurgence has been fueled by several players including Nemeth. On the year, Nemeth has posted a 1.17 ERA while allowing just three home runs across over 110 innings of work. Nemeth also has 114 strikeouts in her freshman season and has contributed at the plate for the Nittany Lions as well, recently helping them win a series over Nebraska with a late game-tying home run while also pitching 10 innings in the same contest. Nemeth is one of the bright young stars in the Big Ten and should continue Penn State鈥檚 winning ways going forward.
