Top 10 freshman NCAA softball players during 2024 season
1. Jaysoni Beachum, IF, Florida State
Beachum has been one of the top hitters among this year鈥檚 freshman class and is already emerging as a star for Florida State. On the season, the 5-foot-3 infielder has hit .447 with a .529 on-base percentage and a .719 slugging percentage. Beachum has also racked up seven home runs, 37 RBIs and 31 runs as a catalyst for the Seminoles鈥� offense. Although FSU hasn鈥檛 quite performed at the elite level it did last season when it reached the Women鈥檚 College World Series finals, the Noles could prove capable of returning to that point down the stretch, particularly with continued production out of their freshman star from Tallahassee.
